BIO

Anthony aka Yung Doejah born in Oakland California on November 19 1987.doejah had a rough child hood growing up in the east Oakland neighborhood called Funk Town. He started rapping at the age of 12 in the 7th grade while going to the jr high school called Roosevelt middle school. He then at the time had no interest into rapping but liked as a hobby, his main focus was basketball at the time. His first 16 bars was wrote by his older brother by the name of Tyrone tuner in which who also rapped and was in a group called BTP Nation . By the 8th grade he then began to write his own 16 bars and really got into having a feel for making music. While in the 9th grade he then met with birdie who was a classmate at Oakland high school. He then found out that birdie was into music and had a group that consisted of two members tanibal and prodigy that went by the group name of No color. He then began to make songs with the two artist and hear his self on songs and really enjoy hearing his self on CD. by the 11th grade he started making his own beats on a software called fruity loops. he then joined a group called LOCK JAWS which consisted of three people that went by the names of A.G.E which Doejah went by at the time, Mustafa and Prodigy. With the group Doejah had his first performance at an assembly at Oakland high school performing “FRESH OUT OF THE CUTS“. the group never finished any projects because 12th grade year Doejah than had transferred schools and went to Dewey academy and finished his senior year walking the stage in 2005. In 2006 while at a job fair he then ran into an old friend by the name of Kenny who was also rapping at the time with his older cousin that had an studio in Berkeley. doejah joined Ball Till We Fall E.N.T and made his first album called “HATERS INSPERATON” that had 14 tracks. The album wasn’t never put out due to the break up with Ball Till We Fall. in 2007 spring semester of Contra Costa College he than took classes to try and major in business management to better his music career and his social skills. On November 10, 2007 he than bought studio equipment to record on his own time. He than ran into jess fresh and formed a group called lead squadron. Lead squadron is a group that consist of three band member that formed a group in 07/08.the three band members go by the name of Yung Doejah, Nasty, Jess Fresh. Doejah is still taking classes at Contra Costa College and working on a project that should drop by next year in 2009.doejah has a different kind of bay swag and style and looks forward to working with any artist that’s on the right path in this music industry. Doejah looks forward to taking his new bay swag to the top to provide for his family and his community.
